2 quick questions...

1) just hooked up a Sega Cd Model 1 and Genesis Model 1. Genesis Model 1 by itself pretty clear, when hooked up with model 1 CD a tad blurry, I have it hooked up via RF. Do the metal plates play a factor? What's the best solution for clear video.

2). Been playing a bunch of PS2 games with no problem on my original PS2 . Today popped in NBA street, a blue bottom disc game, my ps2 didn't read it at first then when it did, it got real loud and sounded like it was taking a crap. Anything to these blue bottom games being difficult to read??

Please advise?

Thanks in advance
Joe

Best factory Genesis video is RGB. Not easy or cheap to setup in USA, but can pay off beautiful for determined users.

Using an external encoder to add options like svideo/component has better game compatibility. That way it'll work for both 32X and Power Base Converter. (you probably know attaching them together is useless)

I've never had that issue on my model 1 connected to a model 1 but I used composite video. If you can get ahold of a composite cable, that's probably the way to go. Model 1 used different cables than model 2, btw. The model 1 cable is the same as a Master System cable, though.

Blue bottoms are CD's rather than DVD's, sometimes the PS2 has troubles reading them even though other DVD based games work fine.

Move from RF to composite. Or have S-Video installed. I've done the install for several people and damn is S-Video lovely.
