It's not very far along, but this is the first time I've seen something like this done with an Arduino. I'm guessing they could go deeper, such as dumping. Kind of like the Retrode, but more in depth.

There's a bunch of other cool stuff people do with microcontrollers and classic games, one guy programmed one to do a perfect speedrun of Super Mario Bros. Any other stuff like this you've seen?
