For the first time ever I played NES with an old friend over the internet using NEStopia. It was pretty damn glorious considering the time zones between us and everything. We ended up using http://odinbsd.net/ as our server. I want to know if there is a list of NES friendly servers. Are there servers that should be avoided? Do certain servers enable faster play? And are there any unspoken rules, etc?

Any and all plugs/recommendations are appreciated! Thanks!

I had never heard of playing 2 player nes over the internet; but then again, I don't really play emulated games on the pc. It does sound really cool!

Since I haven't played over the internet, I can't help you out with any server recommendations. However, if the server you used worked for you, I don't know why there would be a need to change. Since these are just nes roms, and they aren't large files, and therefore, you aren't transferring a large amount of data, I don't think a slow nor a fast server would have much discernable difference.
