Super Mario's Wacky Worlds (http://www.nsahq.net/smww/smww.rar)

I don't have a CDI myself to test it, but the buzz I'm hearing is it's legit. I uh, guess it was possible to rip it after all. :D

There's also a link for eDonkey or eMule (ed2k://|file|Super.Mario's.Wacky.Worlds.(CDI.prototype).r ar|8931241|1008CDB25666777FAD43D21839449983|/ ), but that hasn't worked for me, probably because my connection sucks. Y'should check it out nonetheless.

Enjoy!

Now who did this?

I know 4 guys went in on paying for a proto of this some time back. But had trouble making copies no matter how hard they tried. I also heard the guy who sold it had threatened to make free copies in an attempt to piss people off.

Seems strange that he would try to piss people off by doing exactly what they want done in the first place but hey thats the wacky world of protos.

Anyway who is responsible for this?

Isn't it amazing what a determined group of people can do when they set their minds to it? :D LOL

I didn't do that, but I don't know why anyone was having probs ripping it... it's nothing that ISOBuster wouldn't rip (hint to those trying to rip it if that turns out to be fake)...

Not much is said in the nfo file that's included however...

Super Mario's Wacky Worlds is finally
here. $1000 and a considerable amount of
time and effort was put into bringing you
this release.

And for the person who thought it'd be easy to rip the proto... it isn't (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6562).

Yes, it was that easy... actually I emailed TRE about it a long time ago... he never told me whether it worked for him. I would have posted it then, but the thread was locked, and I didn't see it fit for me (a newbie at the time) to start a thread about something that was previously locked, so I decided to PM TRE.

Oh yeah, and was it you TRE that released it? And did ISOBuster work for you?

It was ripped by a gentleman who goes by "SpooNMan," though this thing got out a little too quickly to fit in his proper *.nfo. I'm not exactly sure what he used, he actually was borrowing the game by the time you PM'd me.

I don't know if you know this, but he's the one that sold it, and he had been selling/trading/giving copies to lots of people, but wouldn't tell anyone how to copy it... and he said it couldn't be done, although I never saw why he thought it was so "uncopyable", as no cdi stuff used copy protection, I guess he thought he was just so amazing by finding a way, and nobody would ever be able to figure out a way LOL .
