The Atari 65XE was the first computer I ever owned, and the computer that got me interested in programming (which eventually led me to become a software engineer). I spent countless hours writing BASIC programs for it, but unfortunately I didn't know anything about assembly language at the time.
I wish I still owned it, but I got rid of mine a long time ago. Someday I'll have to buy one to add to my (scaled back) old computer selection.
