Organising Japanese and English games

How do you sort your games?
Normally I have them stored in alphabetical order, but I'm not sure what to do with mix of Japanese and English language games.

If I separate Japanese and English games and sort them individually, then some series won't be grouped together.

And what about Japanese games with English titles? Sort by the English title or the Katakana name?

I sort by English names where possible, and put the Japanese games near their closest alphabetical counterpart myself.

A lot of Japanese games have a romanized title on the opposite spine. When that's the case, I go by that -- and put the game in backwards on my shelf.

I store US and Japanese games separately. I put Japanese games in English alphabetical order. I just go by whatever the title would be romanized. So if it's in native Japanese, I don't bother with an English translation, but if it's katakana used to represent a foreign/made-up word, I go by however it should be properly romanized (so, for example, Little Princess is alphabetized as "Little Princess", not "Ritoru Purinsesu").

My English games are in alphabetical order and my Japanese games hangout together however they damn well please, which is fine with me because neither Famicom nor Super Famicom games have labels on their tops (a few exceptions not withstanding) and I don't understand kanji.

I don't have that many SFC games, but the ones I do own are usually just put in their own little section on the shelf, nothing special ^^

Saturn games get stored separately just because of the difference cases. SNES and SFC intermingle, as do Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, and N64.

Barring any odddities (like different sized cases) they get intermixed with the other games alphebetically within thier format. In cases where there is no visible English title, I look for what it should be and type out a small label (a removeable one) to put on it so I can easily retrieve it.
