I have two Xbox 360s. One is a black elite, and one is an early non-HDMI model. I'll give a quick breakdown:

Xbox 1: Black 360 Elite, 20gb HDD, power brick, one white controller, regular RCA cables
Problem: dead laser

Xbox 2: White Early non-HDMI model, no HDD, power brick, one white controller, RCA cables
Problem: dead laser

I already own these, should I open 'em up and put lasers in them or sell them as is? They both boot to the dashboard fine, curious as to what they would bring, with dead or alive lasers.

Replacement drives are pretty cheap. I think it's worth the small amount of money and effort that it takes to fix em.

Replacing the lasers are cheap and easy. Completely worth the thirty minutes of your time and a $10 part

Xbox 360 1: replace the laser
Xbox 360 2: sell the boards to someone who has an RROD failure.
