So, one of the bigger (first world) problems N64 game carts have is they only have a label on their face. So when you stack loose carts next to each other you have no idea which is which unless you memorize their locations. This leads to violently thumbing through all your games searching for the one you want.

So I'm curious if anyone has come up with a creative way around this problem. Preferibly one that doesn't involve defacing the cart with a label maker or *shudder* marker.

You could always write on some stickers and apply them to the top of the cartridge, or possibly introduce some sort of indexing system like A-Z.

I went to cover project and all I saw for N64 were universal game case labels.

OP, there was a guy on a couple other forums offering professional quality vinyl end labels for Jaguar and 32X cartridges a couple years back. I haven't seen him around in a while though.

Hmm... Those cover project covers are kinda nice. Could get expensive with materials, and they will take up more space. Still though... nice idea.

Related question I'd figure I'd just stick here instead of starting another thread; do plastic sleeves made for 3-ring binders exist that are tailored to fit Game Boy/Game Gear/Game Boy Advance games? I had this idea of collecting my loose Game Boy library in a 3-ring binder for convenience and display, and would rather not use generic baseball card sleeves.

MY GB/GBA games fit just fine in regular card sleeves. Game Gear games are a bit too big, unfortunately.
