I see where one is on Ebay for 180, but it has some cosmetic flaws. The one I saw today was in tip top shape, in box. Any clues as to what a value is on something like that?

Probably. Someone posted a limited edition blue console last year and it was missing the drive cover. I think he got $200 or so for it. Don't quote me on that though.
$300-500 perhaps, depending on condition and the box and if it's CIB.

Someone over at Assembler mentioned that the red ones tend to go a bit more than most of the others in the series.
