This is a thread to post games you buy over the course of the days/weeks just to see what people are picking up.
This week I have bought:
Cool Spot - SNES - $1
Arkanoid: Doh It Again - SNES - $5
Joe & Mac 2: Lost in the Tropics - SNES - $6 (big score there)
Mega Man Legends - PS1 - $25

I've been killing it the last couple of weeks, thanks to Craigslist, Facebook, and garage sales.
Nintendo & 30 Games for $50 (notable games are Donkey Kong & Gargoyle's Quest 2)
Gameboy in original box and paperwork for $10
Super Nintendo CIB with 9 games (all sports games but most have boxes and some have instructions) for $40
Virtualboy with Mario Clash & Mario Tennis for $35

Why do you keep starting new threads? There are already many similar threads in the other subforums. New users are welcome, but you might want to focus on participating in existing threads rather than constantly starting new ones.

Thing is, because we're new we don't KNOW there are similar threads in the Buy/Sell forum. Because we can't see it.
I mean, yeah I've sort of assumed there is a main 'favorite thread' or 'recent purchess' thread SOMEWHERE (I mean, it is a Gaming Forum) but they aren't visible to newbies like Space-Ace and I.
Anyway, recent purchases for me;
Blaster Master - Boxed (NES)
Flashback: The Quest for Identity (SNES)
Got both for $15 at a flea market. Granted I already owned Blaster Master, and I currently don't have a SNES. So... yeah.
EDIT1: Oh yeah, and I picked up Startropics for $4 bucks the other week.
EDIT2: Oh hey, Space-Ace. Apparently all the 'personal favorites/finds' threads are over in the Classic Discussion sub-forum (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?19-Classic-Discussions)

I looked around and didn't see one, so I created a new thread. If there is already a thread for this here then just redirect us there and this thread will go away when nobody responds to it... its not a big deal

I didn't doubt that there was one... and again, that thread is in a section that new members can't access, so I had no way of seeing it. But thank you

That's the point. Like any forum, you need to take a little time to get to know people and how things operate and not take it upon yourself to skirt the way things are structured by creating multiple new threads that are already in existence. There's nothing wrong with lurking for a few weeks or responding to some existing threads before starting a bunch of new ones.

The Search function is your friend. Unlike some other forums out there, DP doesn't frown upon old topics getting bumped (with legitimate replies). In fact, that's preferred over creating the same topics over and over. You may not have access to the sections related to buying/selling immediately, but there's no need to be repeating topics like "What's your favorite game?"

Joining a forum isn't like starting a new important job... I don't need a training period. I only created 4 new threads and 1 of them has been pretty popular so far. Lets just delete the other threads and not worry about it anymore

Actually, it's exactly like starting a new job or meeting new friends. You need to get to know the environment and build trust and relationships before you take it upon yourself to cop an attitude and disregard the advice of other members.

Ok how about this... Thanks for the advice. Now lets stop posting in this thread so it can disappear and we can all move on with our lives and have fun
