I just recently picked up CIB NTSC-U copies of The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages locally. Both are in those cheaper looking one piece cardboard boxes with the little sleeve on the inside that holds the cart in place. I looked these games up on ebay to see what their current value is at, and noticed that they also came in the more traditional 2 piece boxes, where there's an inner white tray to hold the cart in place. What I'm wondering is if one variation is more uncommon than the other? Does one style box generally warrant a higher price value than the other?

I've seen a few variations of this title. Mine have gold foil behind the Zelda logo where most I see are in just regular boxes. Don't think they vary much in value though.

Didn't notice that detail was also a variation. Mine both have the foil tree background behind the Zelda logo.

I got my copies separately. Seasons is the two piece box while Ages is the foil cover one piece box. I would say I prefer the traditional two piece setup and I didn't realize both games could come in either form, I assumed they were, unfortunately, produced in differing styles. I would say any value is held by a given buyer wanting one style over the other, otherwise they probably clock in at the same price.
