Neogeo rom cart?

So i ordered a copy of fatal fury real bout and when i got in today i see it says some japanese writing and ROM on it. Should i be worried this is a bootleg or something ?

I don't think that's a bootleg. ROM stands for Read Only Memory, you just got a Japanese cart.

Thats a relief. But i was just wondering if was some kinda repro cart. Even the box is different from my other neogeo games.

The newer games came in a snaplock case. No one does repros of the cheaper Neo AES games like that one. Isn't worth the trouble or sacrificing a cart to do.

Right, it's normal for the Japanese refer to carts as ROM Cassettes (which is what the full text says) or ROM Cartridges.
