It seems Revolution Software is working on a fifth game in the series and wants a bit of help to get it finished. Boxed copies of the game are only available with a minimum $100 contribution. Hopefully the game will be good, the early games were pretty fun.

They've already exceeded their goal for Broken Sword 5, so now they expanded upon it. There's 15 days left.

I'm not registered with kickstarter and wasn't planning to, I'm more of a local retail buying kind of guy. The only physical release this is getting is over $100 so I still have to think about it, I rarely spend that much at once on anything.
I'm also nervous how it will turn out. The first game was really well done, but the recent Director's Cut version almost ruined it for me. I'm not sure what to expect with the fifth game.

Hello There, Go on you know you want to. I have been corresponding with Charles cecil on Facebook and he has always replies to my messages (top bloke) he knows that people want it like broken sword 1, i feel confident that he will do an excellent job on this.

This is definitely more than "a bit funded" considering its initial goal of $400,000. And further good news is that Broken Sword 5 is now targeting Windows, Macintosh, Linux, and Android! :D
