Unlike Command & Conquer: The First Decade, these versions have been updated to work with Windows 7 and Vista.

Eat that, Square-Enix! That's how you do a collection! Well, except for the part about requiring Origin.

Yeah even though it's still missing one game and you won't get anything but a key in a DVD case!

Missing one game?

EA needs to make a Mac version of this. I miss the old c&c games. I'm not a fan of the EA releases. All garbage in my opinion.

This would be 100 times better if all the Soundtracks came this it. Not just a best of.

Still trying to figure out what it's missing... also, it includes a soundtrack and exclusive art, and it's only $49.99. It's a lot better than the $400+ Final Fantasy anniversary collection.

It's missing Command & Conquer: Sole Survivor, a multiplayer expansion pack for the first game.

The soundtrack CD is only included in boxed versions. In the US. Europe and rest of the world, you're stuck with MP3s!

And if you expect any sort of support for this, I have to laugh at you. This is a cash-in by EA, I doubt the games are really "fixed". They probably took the fan-made patches and stuck them here.

These games deserve better treatment than this. I'm not a big fan of the series but I respect it for being serious and goofy at the same time, and for being classic in its own way.

They sure do make it sound as if they've patched them, and not just included those community patches. Shame on them if that is all they did.

Just in time to remind you that General's 2 is a F2P Origin Exclusive with no single player campaign...awesome.

Also aren't CnC, Red Alert, and Tiberian Sun avaliable for free on EAs site without any online DRM nonsense or did they take that down by now in anticipation of this release?

I don't believe that it will be properly patched, and somehow I bet that the origin version of this compilation will not accept fan patches that try to fix the inevitable oversights made in this release. Say what you want about the First Decade release but if I recall correctly the unofficial patch fixed pretty much every problem with it..without intrusive DRM.

So yay for the Origin saddled versions of games I can get, for the most part, in better less intrusive formats.
