Forza Horizon (http://www.joystiq.com/game/forza-horizon) takes things off the track into the wilds of Colorado, where for the first time in the series players will have to deal with traffic, sometimes even at night. Just for fun, we like to imagine that every SUV on the road is full of nuns on their way to nun school.http://www.blogsmithmedia.com/www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif (http://www.joystiq.com)Forza Horizon dev diary races against the world (http://www.joystiq.com/2012/09/08/forza-horizon-dev-diary-races-against-the-world/) originally appeared on Joystiq (http://www.joystiq.com) on Sat, 08 Sep 2012 04:45:00 EST. Looks pretty amazing. Turn 10 Studios has a close relationship with the Dodge Viper SRT ALMS racing team.

If you watch the interview it's just a bunch of bullshit. That they want to push the genre forward. Yeah. Too late for that when you're doing something that Need for Speed and Test Drive Unlimited has already done. This is just Forza's version of Test Drive Unlimited.

The one good thing about it is how much better it looks than Test Drive Unlimited 1 and 2. The first Test Drive Unlimited is my favorite racing game, but graphically it sucks. Test Drive Unlimited 2 is good, although it doesn't look as good as this does.

I'll eventually own this game, but until XBL is free to play online, I'll be playing offline only. I'd like to see Polyphony do the same thing, just reduce the amount of cars to only include premium cars, and then don't take so much time to do everything else. Then it truly would be the most realistic driving simulator when you're actually taking these cars on road rather than race tracks only.
