Have yet to play any of the previous titles in the series, but this one has me interested. The commercials and trailers are doing a good job of hyping up the game and have me sold. Love the setting and hope they don't take too many liberties (oooo, a pun!) with historical accuracy.
On top of that, the limited addition box set looks fabulous. Probably won't pick it up, since I don't have that kind of money for one game, but I would love to get my hands on that statue. The flag is kind of nice too.
So, anybody else looking forward to Assassin's Creed III?

This is the exact same thing I was telling some people. I've never played any of the games in the series other than maybe a few minutes of the first game running in the city on a friends data, so I never tried to really get into the series, but the third game has me interested. From where you can be a ship captain and destroy and take over other ships, and then the overall look and gameplay of the game as an assassin. It took the one ship gameplay video, the forest video, and the Boston gameplay video to spike my interested. Sure it's going to be a game I wait to drop in price, but it's one I hope drops in price soon because I really want to play it.
The Vita game also looks good, so if I like Assassin's Creed 3, I'll pick that up at a price drop as well.
Here's both the gameplay videos for those who haven't seen them. Honestly, the amount of stuff you can do in this game is an example of Rockstars hype with Red Dead Redemption, although in Red Dead Redemption, we didn't receive half of what was hyped up.
