While I'm not a fan of digital content, I'm thinking of purchasing one, or maybe two of the compilations currently available for the PSP digitally to play on the PS Vita when I happen to be out and decide to not want to play the Vita game currently in the system. There are other compilations, but I've only listed these because I think they're the best value and have the best games.

Have all three, love all three, my PERSONAL edge goes to Capcom Classics Remixed

The arcade version of Bionic Commando is in my top 3 arcade games and it's perfect on the Capcom Collections.

The rest of the games in the collection are good too.

Really you can't lose with any of those sets.

I also really love the Midway Arcade Treasures Extended Play collection on PSP. All 3 Mortal Kombats, a very decent emulated version of Paperboy, and some other great Midway games. Not sure if that's one that's compatible with Vita though.

Why the fuck does that Sega Genesis Collection not have Sonic 3 & Knuckles?!?!?

..Otherwise it would be the one I would go for in the collections listed as it has a lot of great titles across a few different genera. The Capcom Classics Collection Reloaded would be my second choice for the Ghouls series and 1942/3, never been a huge fan myself but the three versions of SFII would be a large draw for a lot of people too.

I would also suggest two collection I have on my Vita.

Darkstalkers Chronicle: The Chaos Tower

Metal Slug Anthology

Both games look great and control well on the vita. I can't speak to how accurate their emulation is but metal Slug at times does have slowdown, however Darkstalkers always ran super smooth for me.

Why the fuck does that Sega Genesis Collection not have Sonic 3 & Knuckles?!?!?

They already had Sonic Mega Collection Plus. I imagine they wanted to give a taste of the series in a release titled Sega Genesis Collection but not make the previous release pointless to acquire. They wanted gamers to buy both and if this had included all the major 16 bit Sonic games, gamer's would've just bought this one.

And since this was a PSP/PS2 project, that limitation was carried over for the PSP release as well even though Sonic Mega Collection was a console exclusive.

I owned two of the three and prefer the Genesis collection. I'm not sure if I still have whichever Capcom comp. I own/owned, but I wasn't impressed. I also enjoyed the Taito remixed collection.

You can play those other collections on a console. Why not get the Gradius Collection? The Gradius Collection includes Gradius 1-4 and Gradius Gaiden.
