Wow not sure but that is badass. I'd guess $200-$400 range. However, considering I've never seen it before, it could be one of those items that goes ballistic at auction for something crazy. Thanks for the pic!

For something like this, you should try to sell directly to collectors such as on a forum for Nintendo of TMNT fans. Otherwise, it might get lost in the eBay search results. The fact that it is rare and not many people know about it means that not many people are actively searching for it. You should at lease try the Nintendo Age forums with a FA / For Auction thread. Or you could look for a popular TMNT forum.

Well it's funny, because their bandannas are wrong in the actual box of the game but they are correct in that box.

They're not wrong. The box art was taken directly from a comic cover (volume 1, issue 4, 2nd printing), and in the comics they don't have the multicolored bandannas, they all wear red (well, on the covers, the interiors were b&w).

All-Red-Bandannas rule! Multi-Colored-bandannas drool!
Hero Turtles...I always hated that, they are Ninja Turtles

Hero Turtles is so lame.
Ninja Turtles. True original name and not sounding like a pussy.

I'm not a true fan of TMNT, but nice piece of information. Now it makes sense.

His observation, however, is still valid. The game box he's holding shows multicolored bandanas while the real box doesn't.

I notice the hero/ninja part of the logo is hidden by his finger. Wonder if they did that on purpose so they could use the same one in US and EU?

Maybe but Id no't think so because we can see the Palcom logo.

Perhaps but the PALCOM logo could easily be reprinted with minimal effort there or even covered up with a stupid sticker with the ULTRA logo for the US. It was smart to cover up that lame HERO name with the finger, stupid censors in that neck of the world made the US seem sane. Ninja=bad so we need Hero Turtles and Shadow Warriors (Ninja Gaiden), and other gems like robots in probotector instead of people in Contra.

Google images turns up TMHT 2 The Arcade Game in the grey box type, not the first TMHT.
