Devil May Cry 3 has that big ol' 3-headed poochie, Cerberus, and come to think of it, so does Final Fantasy 8.

In DMC3, you fight him and he turns into tri-nunchaku. In FF8, you fight him and then go to jail because fighting dogs is illega.. wait that was Michael Vick. You fight him and then he joins you as a guardian force, just like in real life. I'll be here all week, folks.

edit: God of War III also has dogs. They are fun to kick.
