What are some of the better emulation sites? Not necessarily ROM sites, just sites with general news, info and downloads of emulators. I can't come across many I would call my "favorites".

Anyone have problems with FREEROMS.COM? I used to always go there, but the site links aren't working for me....
Maybe I need to change my browser settings? Maybe the ROMS are gone?

I have tried that site for over a year and over 3 different browsers and it has never worked for me.
www.cherryroms.com is pretty good for SNES roms. 3 problems with it are:
1. You have to register (its free though)
2. Half of the roms are Japanese (I don't know if they are translated)
3. Some roms are on there, but cannot be downloaded b/c they are protected or something like that.
Oh, I just realized that their games section is temporarily down as of today  D'oh.
Here is a direct link to their roms section (it is down at the moment...)

I used to be a regular at davesclassics, but that's long gone. www.retrogames.com is an excellent news site that is updated throughout the day. www.emulatronia.com is another great one, but is in Spanish.

Thanks! That's exactly the kind of site I was looking for.

I know if you need MAME stuff, www.thenationnet.com is pretty good. I used to be a hardcore Arcade@Home user but they went the way of the crapper, so I switched to XMame, and Kawaks for netplay.
Zophar's Domain seems to have it's stuff together on just the emulators and news about same. and if you have a dreamcase, www.dcemulation.com is brilliant.

On the contrary! DavesClassics became vintagegaming.com, which has since turned into vg-network.com. It's alive and well. I still prefer Zophar's Domain (http://www.zophar.net), though; they seem to have a good attitude and a much better site design.
For translations I like The Whirlpool (http://donut.parodius.com).

That's the problem with some sites, I even came across one that is in Portugese what do expect the site was located in Brazil. Then to figure out wiether you got that rom or not.
Question please PM me if you know. Are there any other emulators for the PSX than imbNES,so far all the others I found are for the PS2 (check my thread) or Net Yarazoo. All I have is a chipped PSX.

The best mac emulation site ever is definitely www.emulation.net.
