I came across these when going through some old boxes. The more interesting thing is a CD32 with absolutely no hookups, controllers or anything other than what's pictured. I have no idea if it works. The other thing is a sealed PS2 Dragon Quest VIII demo disc.

Are any of these worth anything? I don't have high hopes for the DQ8 demo, but I really have no idea about the CD32 and even eBay isn't giving me a lot of info.

I just gave away like 10 of those demos lol. They might be worth a few bucks though. I've seen random demos sell from 2-6 a piece before.

DQ is only worth a few bucks. It was heavily promoted as they were really pushing the game stateside in hopes of making it a FF type seller here again. It didn't do that. I'd say it's worth a few bucks.

I guess I might fairly consider the right offer for CD32. Few chances to get one from a US seller.
NTSC version is less often seen today. Though IIRC compatibility makes it less desirable to game on.

Anyone in the US could have gotten a DQ demo for free just by singing up on S-E's site, and I think GameStop was supposed to give them away free but the store I went to made people reserve the full version first.
...and yet people were still selling them on ebay even then.

Anyone have any thoughts on the CD32? I'd like to sell/trade this but I have no idea what it might be worth.

CD32 is usually found in UK. It looks to be worth between $40 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Amiga-cd-32-Commodore-/330804360804?pt=UK_VideoGames_VideoGameConsoles_Vi deoGameConsoles&hash=item4d0579f664) to $60 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Commodore-Amiga-CD32-console-only-/230857917778?pt=UK_VideoGames_VideoGameConsoles_Vi deoGameConsoles&hash=item35c0344552) over there.
There's no telling its US worth, they don't often appear for us.
Do you know if your model is NTSC or PAL?

Now that you mention it, I'm not sure. Is there a way to find out without needing to hook it up or taking it apart?

You'd need to hook it up. Unfortunately, you are missing the 2 hard to find pieces, power supply and controller. I'm not sure I've ever seen a bare console sell, but your only hope to sell it would be to someone that already has one. I can't imagine it would bring that much unless someone needed parts or wanted a spare. I'm tempted, but it would be a very low offer.

I have no idea. It'd only matter for me if game compatibility is an issue. PAL video itself I can handle enough to get by.

I'm interested mainly because this opportunity doesn't come around much. Might not get another chance within the US for some time.
