I own Virtual Pro Wrestling 1 and 2, but I was wondering what are some other great import wrestling games? I've heard a few things about the Toukon Retsuden series, but don't really know anything about them. I'm mainly looking for games from the original PlayStation era to current generation systems. What's the best Toukon Retsuden game? Which system is it on? I've also heard of two N64 games called Toukon Road, or something like that. Are they any good? Also, I'm not a fan of the Fire Pro series, so exclude any of those.

TR3 on the PS1, in my opinion. I just like the feeling of it more than TR4 on the DC.
FYI, Toukon Retsuden 1 was released in the west as "Power Move Pro Wrestling", but without the NJPW licence. The Smackdown series uses a modified (and more arcade-like) Toukon Retsuden engine. Both series were developed by the same team, but do feel different to be sure.

There are actually three games in that series. The first game was on the PSX and was localized (with some changes to the roster) as WCW vs the World. Then there are the two N64 games as well.

Your thinking of New Japan Pro Wrestling: Tōhkon Road Brave Spirits 1 and 2. They are basically the NJPW versions of VPW2. I like VPW2 better but they aren't bad. Shame they don't run on emulators. The VPW games and the Tōhkon games are on my list for when my buddy goes back to japan. The King of Coliseum games are really good to. Two games I want just for the collection are Onita Atsushi FMW and Cutie Suzuki no Ringside Angel. Here is a good list for wrestling games. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Professional_wrestling_games
Are you a Puro fan or just a fan of the games? NJPW just had their big tokyo dome show.
