Hey fellow DP members, I have a question. I recently responded to a Craigslist ad about some Super NES games. Well, I ask what the games are and the seller tells me this: "Return of the jedi. Pacman 2. Mecarobot golf. Speed world. Bass masters. Addams family. Super play action football.Super bases loaded. All donkeys kongs/marios". Now assuming that all the Donkey Kongs/Mario's means more than just Mario World and DKC, I offered the seller $30. It was more or less an impulse buy, but the question that I have for you is:

Are all those games worth $30, and did I make a good decision?

If it includes ALL the SMB and DKC on the SNES, like All Stars and Super Mario RPG, I'd say you ripped the guy off. The DKC's and Mario All Stars, World, Kart and RPG alone are worth more than $30

Hell, forget all that, if Mario RPG is in there, it itself is worth much more than $30

Yeah, I just figured they had Mario World, Mario Kart, and maybe Mario World 2:Yoshi's Island. I have Super Mario RPG, so the thought didn't cross my mind. That would be awesome though.

Also, the three DKC games alone would be worth $30, so it's not a bad deal at all.

It's a good price assuming he has all of the games, the seller may say he does but might have no idea how many games there really are for the systems. "All the Marios" could just mean Super Mario All-Stars to some people, when someone doesn't list out each title separately I assume the worst.

This. Some people don't count Yoshi's Island or Mario RPG in the Mario series list, and some people don't even know about these games. All the Marios to me is a shit load of titles. Mario Paint, Super Mario Kart, Mario's Time Machine, Mario's Early Years...

I'm gonna be so pissed if it is Mario is Missing.

Why? You can just re-sell it and make up part of that $30. If the games are just DKC 1,2,3 and Super Mario World alone, you have your $30 worth and then some. All the Marios most likely also includes Super Mario All-Stars, which would be a bonus.

I was just kidding about Mario is Missing. Actually the educational Mario games are hard to find where I live.

Seeing as you're getting at least a dozen games, that's still less than $5 each no matter what the titles, a rare thing anymore with loose SNES games. When Value Village gets them in, they're $5.99 - $7.99 each
