I'd be very interested in the Castlevania proto but I probably couldn't ever afford it :(

Enmity: Can't afford it? It's not like I'm looking for 2K monies or anything like that :P . I tell you what, I'd also listen to trade offers, as well (cash is king, though). Same goes for anyone else who may be interested.

Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM lens = Approximately $350
Nikon 50mm f/1.4G lens = Approximately $400
Canon EF 50mm f/1.2 L USM lens = Approximately $1,400
Now, I know you want "fair" prices, but from the looks of it, you want more of a "NintendoAge" price than a "Digital Press" price. And at least for me (and I know many others), NintendoAge prices are more of a "desperate silly people shoving large amounts of cash for no logical reason" than fair. It might be fair for you (perhaps you are an NA regular?) but I don't think that the same "fairness in price" can be applied to DP. I don't see people in DP as desperate as they are in NA.
In any case, good luck with the sale.

I really don't have a lot of extra cash since I'm currently unemployed. All my collecting money comes from flipping extras and it really doesn't make me much extra since my initial amount has to go back into my bank for bills. My offer for cash would probably be lower then what you paid unless you got them really cheap in which case I would be happy to make you the offer. Your more then welcome to check out my ebay listings and see if there is anything that your interested in. If there is I would certainly be interested in a trade and possibly partial trade.

Can you confirm that Aliens is actually a US version?

I wouldn't even bother, this dude is asking far too much for them anyway.

Highest offer received so far is $550 for Castlevania and Contra (from a well-known prototype collector, and certainly someone who has the funds to back it up). These will be gone Sunday night (tomorrow) at 10 PM EDT, so you have until then to submit your offers (and I'm perfectly happy to keep Aliens if no sufficient offers come in before then). I'm not expecting $500 each or some other crazy number out of these, for the record...it's fairly likely I'll sell CV and Contra before the above mentioned time. If you don't have anything constructive to add to this thread, I'm asking you nicely to not post at all.
megasdkirby: Were you looking at used? The Canon 50mm f/1.4 goes for $275, the Nikon about $325-$350, and the Canon f/1.2 about $1000-$1100, from what I've seen. I just threw those out in case someone who didn't have cash and had extra lenses lying around could trade for these...I didn't honestly expect anyone to offer them (although it looks like I'll at least be able to purchase one of the three, anyway :P ).
PapaStu: Unfortunately, I don't have a means by which to see if Aliens is the US version :/ ...I can at least say with a degree of confidence that it's undumped (per the one who sold it to me from within the industry). The only caveat to that, is that I can't sell it to anyone who would dump it and then release it without getting into serious trouble (and I'm going to update my original posts here and at NintendoAge with this information).

If dumping it is going to get someone into serious trouble either they shouldn't have sold it to begin with or you shouldn't be selling it at all. It was sold to you with the confidence that it wasn't going to be dumped once it leaves your hands whether or not to a big collector that trust in you is worthless since you can't control what other people will do. Anyone can tell you that they won't dump it, but how are you to tell that they are that trustworthy?
Just saying. Don't play with other peoples lives.

^ Eh..you're right. It's off the table now. The other two are still available, though, until tomorrow night. I'd been considering having whatever buyer for Aliens to agree in writing to not dump/release the ROM, but if it's going to cause this much of a furor, I'd just rather not sell it here.
