Capcom Producer Tomoaki Ayano recapped announcements from New York Comic Con, including "cross-link" features for Street Fighter X Tekken (http://www.joystiq.com/game/street-fighter-x-tekken) in a Capcom Unity blog. The feature allows players to use their PlayStation Vita consoles as controllers for the PS3 version of the game.

Ayano also noted an October 30 release date for alternate costumes for Street Fighter X Tekken and a mid-December release window for the next "hefty" game update (http://www.joystiq.com/2012/10/12/street-fighter-x-tekken-to-get-hefty-balancing-update-later-th/). The update will include character balance fixes, such as tweaked anti-air abilities for Tekken characters, in addition to several visual effects changes.http://www.blogsmithmedia.com/www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif (http://www.joystiq.com)Cross-link, more alternate costumes announced for Street Fighter X Tekken (http://www.joystiq.com/2012/10/14/cross-link-more-alternate-costumes-announced-for-street-fighter/) originally appeared on Joystiq (http://www.joystiq.com) on Sun, 14 Oct 2012 18:00:00 EST. I'm not gonna buy the game still. Not unless capcom released a version having all it's characters unlocked etc.

The game is still pretty bad. I don't care about free costumes unless they come with a frame advantage readjustment for jabs and a nerf for meter gained on block. Also? Maybe adjust the tag mechanic so it isn't free.

For what it's worth, the Vita version comes will all the characters unlocked from the start.

If they made a one vs one mode I don't think it'd have been that bad, but it's probably the worst tag game I've ever played. I pretty much immediately sold it. It was mainly fishing for the tag combo and little else.

I also forgot to mention, if you have the Vita and PS3 versions, you automatically unlock the extra characters on the PS3 for free if you enable cross-play on your Vita. Another nice touch, but Capcom should never have charged for content on the disc in the first place.
