Help me remember this Atari 2600 game!

Hi all,
I'm hoping someone here can help me with this one as all of my searches have come up empty.

It is an action/puzzle game, most likely for the 2600.
Your character moves only up and down in the center of the screen.
Colored bars grow from the left and right sides of the screen towards the center of the screen, and you shoot them or otherwise stop them somehow.
The game ends when the bars reach the middle of the screen.

Note: Apparently no one on Youtube knows how to play the game properly. You are supposed to shoot a big enough hole through one side to escape through. You are a prisoner- typically they attempt to escape on cartoons. It made sense to me at 5-6 years old, anyway.

First thing that came to mind was Squeeze Box.

Based on the description, it sounds like Ram It.

I first thought of Squeeze Box as well but the clue that you only move up and down swung me over to Ram It. Not a bad game. Glad to help :)
