The thread about the CIB Air Raid auction (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?164533-Another-Air-Raid-cib-this-time-with-manual) reminded me of this...
A three or four years ago a friend of mine scored an Air Raid cartridge at a local chain we both worked at. Worked like a charm at first, but when he tried to play it a few weeks later the game would only display in black and white. We just assumed it was an issue with the hardware and left it at that. Now I'm hearing it's been tested on a few more Atari units with the same results. Black and White.
Is this a known issue with 2600 carts? We attempted to clean the contacts to the best of our abilities without any luck. Any ideas?
