I have several Sega CDs and Genesis systems I was considering selling some as I want to convert over to a boxed only collection. I was wondering what combo usually sells for more and what the average value on both are.

I have
Model 1 Genesis
Model 2 Genesis
Model 2 Sega CD

I would have one controller and all cables with a setup.

Thanks.

In my experience Model 1 Gennys tend to do better on their own than M2 versions since there are less of them. Also, the desirability of a Genesis depends on several factors, this thread at Sega 16 is helpful for identifying which is which.

If you were selling everything, I'd sell the M1 Genny separate, and then the M2 Genny and Sega CD together because M2 Gennys are hard to sell by themselves. Just my 2 cents.

Personally, I keep boxed versions of my systems for display, then a general playing version out as well so I don't have to fuss with boxes each time I want to play something.
