Need help repairing a 3DO controller cable

Well my 3do controllers cable is messed up I just want to know if repairing it is simple as soldering the matching wires in the cord

Mmmmmm cable is not repaired again because this is very technical job (http://www.netlogyx.com.au/) and every body cannot repar this cable but some shops are in the market where you cabn repair you this cable but i suggest you to exchange your cbale from the market and get a new cable...
