I was hoping to play my friend in the Wii's Military Madness: Nectaris over the internet, but this won't ever happen, evidently, because the game is no longer for purchase on WiiWare. What the hell? I know Hudson Soft was dissolved by Konami but there are other Virtual Console games still there by Hudson, so why yank Military Madness?

Mod your Wii and download the torrent. It should be in there if the game is from February of this year or older.

Thanks, Rick. I already on the game, but my buddy doesn't. He isn't too tech savvy, so I don't see this ever happening.

You don't even need to be tech savvy to mod the old Wii. All you need is an SD card, download the letterbomb, the programs you want, download the WAD manager program, and download the games. The only reason I give this as my only advice instead of some legitmate means is because we saw this coming. Such is the danger of the download only business model. Games are lost forever unless they are copied.
