View Full Version : Super Return of the Jedi (SNES) - is the THQ version rare ?
I understand that the JVC published version is the original version. The re-release versions are THQ. I'm guessing there are much less THQ versions in circulation, but have no idea if this has any bearing on the values between the two versions ?

That assumption would be incorrect. The THQ/Majesco version seems far more common and they were widely available at retail and clearance for a number of years. The JVC version sealed is worth more than the THQ version. Boxed and complete there is a similar differential, but not as great as both are pretty low value games. I believe the Majesco release used lower quality materials for the outer box and fuzzier printing and the manual was of lesser quality as well.

Both seem fairly common, at least cart only.
(at least last I looked, all the Super Star Wars games were only worth about $5 each loose)
(although it seems like the LucasArts NES/SNES Star Wars games are worth a lot more for the Japanese versions?)
