I'm gonna throw up a hail Mary and hope I'm putting this in the right forum, does anyone here know how to get the ePSXe emulator going? I can kinda get it fired up but don't understand how to put the roms to point at the directories, and also does anyone understand the memory cards and how they work? Thanks in advance.

ePSXe is ancient, I'm sure there're a better emulator available by now on emu cr.

I use PSXfin, it has all the plugins you need for epsxe in it, so you can just load the cd image or game into your cd drive and play. E needs all these different things to get games to work, its technical but people like it for all the different things you can do with it. I think its easier to do gameshark codes and video capturing on it.

I still use ePSXe, works perfectly on Windows 7 64. It's pretty easy to setup. I don't use roms though, I use my actual CD games. You can't use roms anyway, you use ISO rips from the game discs. Memory cards are easy to use. It just designates two files in a folder. In fact, the folder structure is created when you install the emulator I think.
