Nice. I love a bunch of the old wrestling titles. Although some were god awful...

Sadly, the video isn't able to be viewed by myself. Gives me this message: "This video contains content from EMI, who has blocked it in your country on copywrite grounds". Darn.

Although (while I'm here), my favorite older wrestling game isn't featured or mentioned (probably as it was a japanese SNES release) - Super Fire Pro Wrestling X Premium!

So many fond memories of that game, plus there were various hacks available for it that allowed you to play as your favorite WWF/WCW wrestlers, not just the Japanese ones that were included with the game. It had a create a wrestler mode (which was fairly advanced for it's time), multiple rings, different matches (handicapped, batal royals, etc), and tonnes of moves!

Man, I hate when Youtube does that... they block certain material from countries... this is what I'll do for you though, we have individual links to his individual reviews before they were compiled together.

Awesome thread! Even though most of the old school WWF games suck they hold a lot of nostalgia for me.

One thing is for certain and that is I must obtain a Wrestlefest arcade machine :king:

For me, the best old-school wrestling game is good ol' Pro Wrestling on the NES. It actually incorporates some real strategies in wrestling other than just pounding the other guy senseless till his power meter drops. I'm suprised that's not featured in the reviews.

Wrestlevessel actually did review Pro Wrestling but it was one of his long lost reviews due to someone hacking the Youtube account and deleting all of our material.

Pro Wrestling, WWF Wrestlemania Challenge, and Tecmo World Wrestling (all for the NES) all rank among my favorite wrestling games of all time, especially Wrestlemania Challenge because the music was so amazing during the elimination and victory screens. I was a huge fan of WWF Royal Rumble for the SNES back in the day as well as WWF No Mercy for the N64 and the WrestleFest arcade game, I also somewhat liked the first WWF wrestling game for the NES with Hulk Hogan on the cover but I hated it at the same time.

That's the one that rare developed right? It's kinda fun, not nearly as bad as people make it out to be.

I loved Mat Mania in the Arcade.
