I just got one on eBay and really like it. Only issue is when my ps3 is playing ps2 games it doesn't work...
I've read around the net and can't find any real help. Maybe theres a trick to it or something? Any help?

The PS3 won't recognize third party controllers for PS2 games, which sucks. You need a modded stick or controller with a PS3 PCB or PS2 PCB if you don't want to use a Dualshock 2 or 3.

Are you talking about the Fighting Commander or the Fighting Commander Pro?

Pick up a PS2 pad of some kind along with a PS2 to PS3 adapter. That's pretty much your only option.
If it makes you feel any better, not even the madcatz TE works. It's a weird oversight.

I bought the ps1/ps2 to ps3/pc adapter from hyperkin, it works great on my computer.
This version has bad reviews, but the first guy says to buy the one Im talking about.
