Starfox Super FX in-store banner - Can Anyone help!?

Hi Peoples,

I recently missed out on one of these, Snes starfox Banners on Ebay, I'm a huge Snes collector (too much stuff to mention but currently up to 564 games) and a big Starfox Fan so i try to collect all and everything connected to Starfox.

Anyhow here is a pic of the item in question :

Just wondering if anyone had one of these and would be looking to sell it, also how rare is it... i'm Just interested, since this type of In-store Promo / Display doesn't show up that often.. x_x

Also this goes for any other snes game regarding in-store banners and big posters..

If you look at the font its the same as the competetion cart.

There is a reason for that. The banner was used for the competetion. There was a black strip attached at the 4 corners which covered up "IS HERE FOR" I believe the small cover-up banner said "COMPETETION HELD HERE"

After the competetion they would rip off the competetion cover and you'd see what you now see.

I'd imagine that they are fairly rare esp with the original competetion tag intact. How much did this one go for?

Its worth that for sure.

I bought one with a StarFox competetion cart awhile back. I never got so many emails from other bidders asking me to resell it to them. I had many offers higher than that.

If you hadn't have mentioned all the other bidders, i'd be asking you right now if ya want to sell it too me lol..

Well i had abit of look recently (well a few months back) i picked up a mint Starfox Cart for $5O, the guy was selling it on ebay, well he was selling the original Starfox / Manual / Box Etc, and in the description it said plus bonus.

So i check it out and his *Little* Bonus was the Comp Cart, this was also a 5 day auction, and when i found it, it was down to a day and a half so i asked the seller if he wanted to stop the auction for $5O.

He replied to my e-mail telling me he would take my offer and he had already closed the auction, so i got my Nice little Comp Cart cheap enough.

Thats one of my best purchases so far, as well as picking up Mario Allstars and Earthbound Both *Proto's* both US / Ntsc, for £30 which is about $45-$50..

They are the final versions, i was meant to post some pics in the proto forum, i said i would but never got around to it i'll have to do it this week..

There is nothing like pickin up something cool for a nice price!!

Thanks as well for the Info regarding the Starfox banner but after you telling me about that i'm PO'd that i missed it now... Since it also has a connection with the Starfox Comp as well!!!
