So, just a quick question... In terms of old-school gaming, what would you like to have the most for Christmas? Personally, I would like to have either a Virtual Boy or a Commodore 64 for Christmas (I also want a Wii U for Christmas, but that's not our topic). So what about you? What retro gaming-related thing would you like for Christmas?

Turbografx-16 with Bonk's Revenge and Soldier Blade would be nice.

Shelves for my game room. Oh, and let me echo a Commodore 64. My dad threw mine out years ago but not my floppy disks, so my desire to play them still simmers gently. To come full circle, I don't want the excess gaming equipment while my game room is just tube screen tvs and milk crates of video games, systems, controllers, and miscellaneous. Not that I'd turn away a C64 if a kind benefactor was to step forward, mind you.

I'd love a Neo-Geo AES with a couple of the early games like Nam 75 and Cyber Lip. Baseball Stars, etc, etc...

An RGB modded 3DO would be really sweet as well :)

Complete Nintendo Power magazines up through, let's say, issue 100.

If I opened up a Christmas gift and saw King's Field III: Pilot Style(PS1, NTSC-J) I'd probably end up in tears. xD

But that's just not going to happen. But like treismac said, shelves would've been nice. I'm also wanting a SNES, and as always, more PS1 games!

NEO GEO CDZ, the cd games are cheap, and the CDZ is twice as fast or so than the normal one.

I've asked for adventure island, jackal, and blaster master, and will end up buying bubble bobble and gun. smoke

I'd personally want either model of the Mega CD.

i would love to get a 10 Million PS1 console but I know that won't happen. I would pass out if it did

This is the first year since, probably 1981 that I didn't get (or really want) anything video game-related for Christmas, although I did buy myself 5200 Tempest when it was released a month or two ago.

I'll come help ya with that. Just finishing up my new setup ;)

But on topic, I'm really trying to acquire a complete gameboy micro set and there are two "common" colors that I'm still working on. Light purple and light metallic blue. I think I've found a purple for a good price, now I just gotta find a good price on a blue...

Also a non-busted TG-16 would be nice.

NEO GEO CDZ, the cd games are cheap, and the CDZ is half as slow or so than the normal one.

Fixed :P

You should be able to find a Saturn at a Flea Market for about $30 ish. When I used to go to Flea Markets, I would always see Saturns. Usually they would be bare bones with no controllers and no hookups, but the guy would be selling it for 20 bucks.

I asked for a couple NES games as well such as Bubble Bobble, Original Arcade Mario Bros., and Ice Climber. Plus I will most likely end up buying some more co-op NES games with the money I hope to get for christmas.

Other games I want I am just getting from my parents as some are kind of expensive:

Super Mario RPG (SNES)
Mario Kart 64 (N64)
Ghouls 'N Ghosts (Genesis)

And some controllers for a few systems.

If I get Super Mario RPG I will literally have a seizure. I want it sooooo bad :)

Shelves for my game room.

After Christmas my Dad and I are going to build a TV stand and game shelves for my bedroom (which is also my game room) :) I can't wait to be able to play and display my games :)

I can definitely dig that. I'd like Final Fantasy VI complete in box.
