Some people due to the meaning of the 25th or out of tradition do it the afternoon/evening before the 25th and/or split between the days with Santa in the morning. My wifes family usually does most/all theirs on the 24th (I did the 25th) so what I get probably 90-95% of it is on the 24th. That said, so far, nothing unless my brothers late gift in the mail has something since he works for a game company third party publisher.

The only game I got I paid for a few hours ago today because I found Captain Commando for 90% off the usual average rate on ebay. ;) That's gift enough as I've wanted it for years off and on and hated the price.

all I got really were gift cards and food all very useful-no fun gifts though the money was used for bills food etc. I did get a truck recently though just an ol beater and some tires for that and my car so...some games in their somewhere would be nice though

I didn't get any games proper, but I did get a $25 App Store gift card for iOS which will inevitably be spent on some of the more expensive games that I've been holding off on picking up, as well as DLC pinball tables for Pinball Arcade.

I did get an awesome game-related gift from my wife, who shelled out some coinage (yet found a great deal on them) for the Play Arts Kai Bayonetta and Jeanne figures. Like all of the Play Arts figures they're super detailed and super poseable, but MAN am I glad that I had some figure stands with support grips lying around, because they don't stand on their own for shit.

My sister gave me her entire PS2 game collection. 60 games, including .hack//GU volume 3 (the last one I needed in the series!) and a bunch of other nice stuff. She also gave me her copy of Skies of Arcadia Legends for the Gamecube. I guess she's moved on to PC gaming now, but at least the games will have a good home.

For the record at this rate I think I have a WiiU game coming late in the mail from my brother (assuming it's assassins creed 3) and that's it, got around $400 in checks/cash though. I figured I'd get nothing or near it in gaming this year as I'm hard to shop for and never ask for stuff (not comfy doing it) plus since I do mostly old stuff my wife won't touch it fearing I'd buy it first anyway.

Knowing that I worked up a deal with a slick ambulance chaser over on NA where I got 2 games that have been bugging the crap out of me I used to have before and haven't in one case for almost 10 years now (the other 2) I had to let go of. Gave him 6 PAL SMS games+1 Game and Watch and a few bucks and in turn I got a mint copy of Bubble Bobble 2 (decade loss), and Bomberman II in trade. That was my gaming gift to myself as I'd never feed into that horrible monetary beast on that level gaming sadly has degraded into paying some shitheel reseller for it. I wish I never let go of my first copy of BB2, was a $20 pickup with the manual (which I can live without, game is awesome.) I also gifted myself a purchase on eBay of a barely blemished Super Nintendo hanging display with Mario riding Yoshi wearing his cape and for under value too. :D

I'm in the same boat as you and love the 3DS OOT with the updated graphics. Did get Failsafe in a trade for the 7800, love A5200 Countermeasure. And a almost CIB Sega CDX but missing owner's manual and had the wrong ac adapter. So had to order one.

For my birthday which was two weeks ago I got a blue 3DS XL and Tales of the Abyss (3DS).

And then for Christmas I got Paper Mario Sticker Star (3DS), Breath of Fire 3 (PSP), Catherine (360), The Testament of Sherlock Holmes (360), and Ni no Kuni (PS3) preordered in full.

I already beat Sherlock Holmes And world 1 of Paper Mario :P
