I seriously started collecting for the Turbo in 1999 and it's taken me this long to find every title.

That's really awesome man! Quite a feat these days.
Before watching the video I figured the game would either be Magical Chase or Dynastic Hero. Back when I was collecting turbografx games those two seemed to be the hardest to find and the most expensive.

Yeah, I had to sell off a lot of my collection in 2006 to pay for my house here (even sold my complete Earthbound) but I couldn't get rid of the Turbo stuff it was the system I played a lot as a kid.

Just brings sad memories for me, traded all my stuff for another system long time ago and was one of the biggest mistake's ever. Had all the cards or most of them, allot of the cds, cd add on, Duo, turbo express, ect... But its way too much money to track all that stuff down now.So, I'm very jealous of you and happy for you at the same time. Some of my favorite's were Gate of thunder, cotton and devil crush to name few.. but when i got that 2.0 card and played the Japanese game Castlevania for the first time, blew my mind.@_@

Thanks for watching!

Argh. So jealous, I totally hate you. I am not looking forward to the day I have to track down Dynastic Hero.
Seriously though, congrats! That's an awesome achievement.

Nice catch with the Dynastic Hero. I have been working on my TG-16 collection at least as long and find myself about ten games away. Of course those last 10 are the most expensive. I'm not sure I'll be able to talk myself into spending the amounts required for those last few games; but I definitely would equal your excitement when I acquire any of them.

DH is one of the most expensive TG16 titles out there at least, the PCE version is dirt cheap.

This thread made me smile. It is really nice to see someone complete the collection for the Turbo and actually be a player, not someone who is interested in just flipping a complete collection to get a ton of money. My favorite system of all time, and a joy to play. Perhaps you should jump into the PC Engine now? Some seriously awesome, top titles for the system too. Very good games indeed. Congrats on the milestone man, and enjoy. You obviously earned it.

Well I'm not actually going for a complete system collection, I just really like RPGs and covet Dynastic Hero for it's connection to Wonder Boy in Monster World. For now it can stand in line behind those other few hundred dollar games that I don't have either. :P

I plan on moving on to some PCE titles too but with all the games out there there's no way I'm going to try for a complete collection for that so I'm just picking and choosing a few ones that interest me.

It be a long wait then if you really wanted a copy of a u.s dynastic hero.I remember many years ago, when it just worth $200.00+ but i skipped out and bought the pce version instead. At most when i compared both. The TG16 version it being has a nice ost compared to the genesis original and that's all.

Congratulations on your accomplishment!
I never new anyone with a TG-16/Duo, so I've never seen any of it's games.
I don't remember ever seeing anything TG-16/Duo being sold around my neck of the woods either! So I can somewhat imagine how difficult it was to do what you've done. It was definitely worth sharing. :)
Occasionally they release PC Engine compilations on other consoles and I suppose that's about as close as I'll ever get to playing TG-16/Duo games.
