I collected quite a few pirated games when I was in Sao Paulo Brazil. Thought I'd share one of them with you. This is a pirated Double Dragon II NES cart. Plays just like the real deal. It's not in English though. Still fun to play

I love how the game logo is on the back of the cartridge. Part of the charm of pirated games, I think, is usually how bad they all look.

What would posses someone to do such a thing? Rarely do I ever look at the back of a NES cart when I am sorting through bins of games. I would have just assumed that the game was about the fox in the Three Musketeers outfit. Pirates, eh?

Yeah I love that the label is on the back too! Pretty strange but I enjoy it a lot

If it was a pirated Famicom game it would be extra cool, because then I would be able to see what the game is when I flip it upside down or backwards to play it in my Toaster or Toploader with an adapter.

Looks like a Supervision cart to me almost, seen that lame mascot enough times over the last few years.

Isn't that a Famitsu character? I've seen that art style enough to recognize it.
(and I know one Super Famicom game called Down the World used it. Possibly other ASCII games, which isn't a coincidence as ASCII/Enterbrain publishes Famitsu.)
