This is the newest sensation. If you can beat the owl, you're awesome. If you can beat Christopher Robin, you can rest easy knowing that you've accomplished one of the most difficult tasks in gaming:

Be sure to upgrade at the store in between matches. Are you a bad enough dude to defeat the creatures of Hundred Acre Wood in the great sport of baseball?

The honey pots, they aren't filling! Wait, I've got two now...
...three...

(A few minutes later)
Well, this game certainly will alleviate any questions you had about Ee-Yo's hindquarters...what's that purple back there?! ARGH!

Okay, I've got it now. Line up that green spot at the tip of the bat with the incoming ball. Not sure how to time swings yet (other than the obvious "swing when the ball is likely to be in the area").

Edit: Oh god, only Stage 4 and Kanga is showing up already?! Well, I guess Owl has a mean spitball...
Longest so far is 145.3 (meters?) and they seem to give you more cheer and cowbell (sometimes) when you hit it further.

Edit #2: Oh, maybe I should've upgraded something before trying to take on Kanga...I did manage 8 homers without upgrades, and probably could've eventually gotten it. What's the second store option? Mitt? What could that mean?

There is an English version floating around, but it was the Japanese one that initially became so popular...

I think that third option, "speed," maybe adjusts how quickly Pooh settles behind the cursor.

Rabbit must be the "good medium-high level for grinding" because I only hit 26 home runs (out of 30 pitches) against him in my first try. (Owl went down in the first attempt too, but I just hit the 19 required - but for some reason I got a huge bonus just beating Rabbit with most pitches hit out). The slow pitch opening actually gives you a good second to line up the bat's sweet spot. Tigger ("Tiger?" lol) would be pretty easy except that you can't see the pitch half the time. If you get far above the bag in order to try to reduce the time the ball is in flight, Pooh will move much slower than if you're hovering right over the bag, making lining the bat up much harder.

I must say this game is kind of addicting.

I got stuck on Dumbo first (probably because I'm terrible at baseball in reality and sports video games in general), but once I got the general rhythm down, I passed him and didn't have a lot of trouble until now. Now I'm stuck on hooters. I guess, I'll keep powering up and sometime I'll get passed it, if my lack of baseball skills doesn't stop me after that!

Nothing good comes of this game.

I've lost 4 hours to this game thanks to this thread, and I still can't beat that blasted Christopher Robin. He must be more machine than man.
