I picked up a Laseractive Genesis controller forever ago in a Master System lot. At the time I was annoyed that I didn't notice it sooner and asked the guy about the system, but such is life. I know the system its self is rare, but do the Laseractive branded controllers hold any value? Obviously there's not a whole lot of completed sales on ebay to go by. Thanks.

They're a hard thing to price and mainly a collectors item so condition matters. I got one to match my setup several months ago for about $20, but I've seen people pay up to $60 for them on ebay depending on the condition and alignment of the moon ;)

I'll post pictures later then. I "remember" it being in good condition. But I put it away "not to be used" after I realized what it was. So I haven't taken a good look at it in awhile.

Oh cool, I have one too. Better sell it and get the regular Sega brand one.

I've been trying to sell mine for years with no takers. The only offers I ever seem to get are on par with the price of a regular Genesis controller ($3 - $5). I think this one all has to do with right time, right party trying to complete their LA.

I remember seeing someone on ebay selling their entire laseractive collection a while back in pieces. They were only asking $10 plus shipping for the controller with a SEGA official 6-button thrown in too.

I think that I paid in the $10-$15 range for mine. Good luck with your sale. My grandkids actually like this controller better than the Genesis controller since it is a little smaller and has a longer cord.
