Say, just out of complete curiosity, does anyone have their favorite Sega Dreamcast games? Me, personally, my favorite game is Sonic Adventure 2, but Shenmue is ready to take that place.
So, what's your favorite Sega Dreamcast games?

One of my favorite Dreamcast games would have to be Sega Bass Fishing. Another would be Sega Marine Fishing.

I'm somewhat ashamed that I own Shenmue but have never played through it. I went to town on Yakuza and Yakuza 2, though, so that should count for something...anyway, my personal favorites would have to be MvC2, Guilty Gear X, Skies of Arcadia, Grandia 2 and last but not least Sega Marine Fishing. If you have a fishing rod controller, you need that game.

For the most part these games are exclusive to the DC and are not mentioned as much as they should be.
Outtrigger - Its an awesome FPS or third person shooter depending on your preference. I love the medal system. I helps deter people from just camping but also makes it fast and furious because other people can steal your points if your not careful. A very unique arcade style FPS and has a BRAIN MELTING OST. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eZKRnqoSSig)
Skies of Arcadia - Best played on the DC thanks to the VMU. I can't tell you how many times I would go to school and play Pintas quest throughout the day on the VMU. Then I would come home and load up my game and have tons of new items and master new spells for my characters. It was awesome being able to gain new items, money, spells etc. while away from the DC.
Speed Devils - One of my favorite arcade racers of all time. Creative tracks, weather effects, tons of cars and options. I loved this game then and I still love it.
Armada - An expansive space game with RPG elements. You take on missions and push far into space. Sometimes other ships will join you like another party member. You can fly to different planets that you see and actually go to them and fight across their surface. There are out posts that have rare items you can purchase and equip. It's a really good game. Especially if you get three friends and all 4 play at once and help each other. I have never played anything else like it on a console.
Berserk - Huge fan of the Anime and the DC game is a beautiful extension of it. THIS is how you handle a franchise. It's written by Kentaro Miura (the same guy that wrote the Manga). The music is by Susumu Hirasawa, that did the music for the anime. The voice actors while not the same as the anime are, for the most part, very well done. The game feels like a kick ass beat em' up, with amazing music and an awesome story.
I could go on and on, but i'll limit myself to 5 of my favorite DC games.

Red Dog
Outtrigger
Phantast Star Online
REZ

Sonic Adventure - One of my top 5 favorite games overall. Also, one of the few games I'll defend rabidly like some crazed fanboy when someone tries to trash it IRL.
Soul Calibur - As far as I'm concerned, the 3D fighting genre has never been bettered since its inception.
Marvel vs. Capcom 2 - As far as I'm concerned, the 2D fighting genre has never been bettered since its inception.
Skies of Arcadia - Wonderful, charming, oldschool style RPG.
Phantasy Star Online (and v2) - Spent 900+ hours between these titles
Hydro Thunder - HYDROOOOOOOOOO THUNDERRRRRRRRRRRRR
Star Wars Episode I Racer - Loved the N64 version, but this one has cleaner visuals.
Crazy Taxi - I was just playing this yesterday. I have to admit, I rarely pick anyone up. I just put it on "10 crazy minutes" and drive like a maniac. This was my GTA III before GTA III.
Sonic Adventure 2 - Made me want SOAP shoes.
Dead or Alive 2 - Bouncy.

I would have to say:
- Phantasy Star Online
- Resident Evil: Code Veronica
- NBA 2K
- Sonic Adventure
There were some other titles that I enjoyed, but didn't really play as often as these 4.

I'm going to pretend I didn't come to this thread and didn't see a single mention of either Bangai-O or Ikaruga.
Also Biohazard 2 and 3. Why play on PS when you can play on SEGA hahaha :)

Resident Evil: Code Veronica
Skies of Arcadia
Grandia 2

RE2 in particular is a fairly shoddy port of the PC version (running on WindowsCE). It's not really worth "upgrading" to if you have the DualShock version on the PSX (and I have both).

I played my Bio2 on DC a while back and didn't notice anything about it that would make me say "this version sucks/is poor/etc."
Could you point out finer details to elaborate what is so sub-standard about it? :-\
Ah but I wanted my Bio games on SEGA. I have 1 on SS and 2/3/Code Veronica on DC. I'm stuck with 0 on GC, no choice there.

I'm glad to see Record of Lodoss War. I have this game but haven't tried it yet (big queue of RPGs...) -- good to know I have something interesting to look forward to.
I hear Crazy Taxi 2 is not as great as the first. Which one of the two is more popular?

It's great, but it's better on the PC (if you can get the bastard thing to run these days.)

Two of my all time faves....
Shenmue. I've actually been thinking of going back and replaying this in the not too distant future. Few games have immersed me like this one did.
&
Star Wars Jedi Power Battles. Really fun beat-em-up/hack n slash game. The game has some rough edges, but the fun never really stops for me. I go back and replay this one every so often, doing so as recently as last year.
Also, Virtua Tennis. A good, simple to play tennis game. To my knowledge, this was the last tennis game to really get much hype.

Cosmic Smash - Rez, Virtua Tennis and Breakout had a three-way and this is the result. Surprisingly fun, too.
Ikaruga - Does anyone NOT know why this game is amazing anymore?
Sonic Adventures - Big in the Egg-Walker is still exclusive to the DC version of SA2, as are all the halloween costumes and other DLCs. Adventure has christmas in station square and a few other neat things.
Treasure Strike - Interesting little import that's sort of like a dungeon crawler combined with powerstone.
Illbleed - SEXAYDAAAAWL! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-jPL_Y-giCE

I have rather limited dreamcase experiance but I would have to say Jet Set Radio. I would kill for a new one. The HD remake wasn't what I hoped for but I was happy with it regardless.

Is Pen Pen Tri Icelon a favorite for anyone else? Has to be one of the most fun multi player games on the Dreamcast! Loved it since it first came out.

Confidential Mission
There's still a ton of DC games I've not tried yet, so the list might change.
I always liked the look of Confidential Mission, but the DC light guns don't work with LCD TVs do they? I really fancy giving it a go, which is a problem.
Nothing beats Crazy Taxi with a steering Wheel. I also love Ms Pacman Maze Madness. And, can never go wrong with Typing of The Dead. I remember buying the Dreamcast Keyboard at Gamestop for $2.00 new in the box. Rayman on the Dreacast is also a lot of fun to play.
