Im not sure where this thread belongs sp mobe it as you please but on to the simple question: has anyone ever purchased a game repro from gamereproductions.com? Can anyone vouch for the credibility/shipping/service of this website? I only ask because they have an english translated Pulseman for Genesis for $37.00 including shipping and i was wondering if this was a good website for buying repros or if there are other websites better for repros? Or maybe personal sales over a forum like this would be best for a reproduction cart? I ask because all my buying has been of normal "official" games mostly from ebay and I have never bought a repro and wanted to see the best place to buy one.

Thanks!

my brother ordered earthbound zero/mother 1 and they said it would be there in a month and it was. To the day one month. Cart works fine and looks official enough. I personally say try email out. I plan on getting that dbz RPG they have

I know the guy, he's honorable you should have no concerns I'm local to him. Around 5-6 years ago I got a Super Mario Bros 2j cart from him, even made it with my own custom label and hand delivered it too. I recently moved back here and we figured out who each other were again recently (using a new online name, the other would get harassed a bunch) and he's really good about all he does.

If you have a date, it should be met. If something happens or you feel concern then contact through the website.

I've ordered from gamereproductions once before and although it took longer than other repro makers I was happy with my purchase. I'd look around at what else is available from others so you can get the best price. I also like ocdreproductions and retrostage. I've never tried any other sellers.

edit: I'd stay away from timewalkgames unless you are hell bent on getting a box and manual. They seem to do nice work, but are a lot pricier, even cart only are more expensive there.

personally, I hate gamereproductions.com (take forever, bad label quality- maybe its improved), retrozone (slaps their HUGE logo on everything), nesreproductions.com (uses the worst possible paper for labels, art sucks and is pixelated or stretched out usually), Timewalk Games (uses new school artwork that doesnt fit in with the right generation the games are from, expensive) and whomever else. Bad quality paper for labels and sleeves, usually have to send in a donor, etc....Theres plenty of people on here and just about every other classic gaming site that produce top quality repros. If you want the best possible Pulseman release (and any Genny repro for that matter) talk to the Nolans (MrMark or Beaglepuss), super quality, no need to send a donor, etc.

and if you ever want NES repros only use thenesdump.com, top quality, no need to send donors, super variety of games to choose from...

and snes stuff I have no idea....I know thenesdump use to offer some games so just ask them.
