So, I just successfully repaired my Virtual Boy with the LED ribbon glue cook technique (with tape to maintain the hold).
Though, even WITH the deep security bit I couldn't get the two "deep" screws out and wound up drilling the heads off and removing the screws from the posts after everything was opened up.
I didn't wind up doing any damage, but I don't have two equivalent sized screws lying around. Are those screws crucial to anything other than keeping the case top/bottom together?
Does it matter if I just leave them out for the time being? (or permanently)
