Wii U game pad looses full charge after a few weeks.

Hi. I'm having a problem with my gamepad. I fully charge it after Ive played for a few hours so it's ready for the next time. When I go back to use it two or three weeks later the battery is completely dead to the point that the system wont turn on unless i plug in the charging cable. Is this normal? My 3 ds dosen't do this. Thanks.

Nyko's coming out with a third-party battery pack soon. Barring that, raising hell with Nintendo or running your pad on charger power seems to be your best bet.

Yeah, I suggest checking out with Nintendo for the warranty. For having dealt with them twice over the past couple of years for my DS lite and my 3DS, I can say that their warranty repair program is quick and efficient, without any fuss. If you registered your Wii U on Club Nintendo, that makes it even easier to raise the repair ticket.
