Im watching this video that Roy Shildt made, its a crazy series of videos, and during an interview with Walter Day in an arcade you can over hear all these cool sound effects behind them.
So Im thinking of doing a special sound effects mix tape of different sounds in with each other as if you were walking through an arcade with different machines turned on from all the past decades worth of games.
So what sound effects or songs would you like to hear? Ill put them to different arcade game footage on youtube.

Pole Position high score music(s) were cool. ;)
But gotta give this to Atari Star Wars... sounds from the movie sounded so incredible back then.

Btw using that avatar (Ihatedsega) is kind of depressing to see, since the person that used it before passed away recently.

I honestly don't recall seeing that avatar image anywhere around here up until Ihatedsega started using it. What user are you talking about?

Huh. This is news to me. I assume there was a topic about it at one time or another.

I love the :gong: sounds many 80s and 90s Atari coin op games make when a coin is inserted. Many of them have that sound, including gauntlet and marble madness.

I always liked killing the Freddie Mercury guys in Golden Axe just to hear the scream.

I'd love to hear all of these in there:

One thing though, if you need to capture the sounds of the SEGA vector games, you'll need to use a perfectly speed-calibrated emulator, an older version of MAME that still used samples, or an original machine.
Alternatively, you could pull audio from these:
