What would a Game Boy Player be worth. It's got everything but the box.

Was there a boxed version? I thought it just came in a plastic blister pack.

The player is usually at the 10 dollar mark, the disc alone hits 30 on eBay even if the plastic case and manual aren't with it.

Yeah pretty sure it only came in a bliter pack. I kept my opened blister pack for years before I finally had the heart to just toss it.@_@

I paid $20 for mine with the disc from the local game store.

I'm livid with myself for passing on one when they were on clearance at Walmart a long time ago. I want one bad, but haven't been able to find one A) not already attached to a Gamecube, B) At a good price, and C) With the disc

Hehe, yeah I'm not selling. I'm actually looking at buying one locally.

Hmm.... well, he's asking about $50 for it. I guess $40 would be a fair deal for both of us. I'll see if I can talk him down.

I don't know why I didn't think of that. All the accessories for the GameCube were in blister packs.

I'd say about $30. This is one of those accessories that has something like a 500 to 1 enjoyment vs. price ratio. Seriously, the GBP makes the GameCube one of the best home consoles for retrogamers. You basically get three generations of awesome handheld hardware compatibility and GBA games look great on it. I wish I would have picked up more of these when they were $15 at GameStop and every store in the area had like 5 - 10 on hand.

Well, then good thing I bought my disc direct from Nintendo a year or so ago when they still had them for like $15 new, I think.
(though I think used discs might have still been selling for more than that, even then. I know before the Wii Selects release of Wii Sports, people were still paying $30 or more for sealed copies on ebay when Nintendo was selling them direct for something under $20. They said it was replacement disc only, but I'd have to imagine that's only reason anyone would've wanted to buy one.)

Polygon I see you live in Utah and there is one on KSL http://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=218&ad=23707422&cat=&lpid=0&search=game%20boy%20player&ad_cid=7 for $35 with the disc you could talk him down from that.

I highly recommend the GB player, I got lucky and found mine with disc in a craigslist ad.
It opens up a whole library of GBA games which look and feel like SNES games (sometimes) for your big screen, not to mention playing all GBC and original GB games.

GET ONE.

Yeah, I've got about 5 that I squirreled away somewhere when they were $9 (with EDGE), I should probably find out where they went. I've also gotten a few that I found on random CL pickups but like other said, 90% of the time they come with GC attached. It's funny that the attachment is worth more then the actual system!

Thanks for the heads up. The other deal fell through. He was firm on his price and I'd consider close to that if it were still in the original blister pack, but not loose.

No question, I'm getting one. Recently I've been collecting GB, GBC, and GBA games so this just makes sense.

Hey! If you find them and have any still sealed or with the blister pack and want to sell one, let me know. I like having all the original packing for everything.

I've wondered something... did even Japanese GBP have an FCC warning sticker on them (even though of course Japan is outside the FCC's regulation)?
Just looking up listings on ebay, and I see a hit-japan (a Japanese seller) has photos of one (which is presumably a Japanese-market model) that does have an FCC warning.
I wonder if my orange one is actually a Japanese unit (AFAIK all US-sold GBP were black)? Bought used without disc on ebay.
