Okay i did buy new TV for my PS3/Xbox360/Wii/PC

Now i am having a problem with the TV though, their is no Red/White/Yellow connection.... Which means i cant play my PS2 (My favorite console + biggest part of my Video Game Collection).

So i am now on hunt on craglist/Good Will for a TV.

I was wondering is their any specific Old Type TV that i should be looking for to get most out of my PS2? Like do i need to look for a TV that has Max resolution of 480p, is flat screen okay? or should i go for more of a round type of glass?

Mostly what i play on it is my SNES/PS2/Xbox/Gamecube.

Any ideas of stores/online places i can look more for this kind of Older TVs that are not LCD/LED/Plasma? (or if their are any good Plasmas/LCD/LEDs? for old generation consoles?)

I just dont want screens to be streched out/over pixilated. Looking for something between 24-32 inches.

You could just get component cables for the PS2 as those were produced by Sony. If you still want a CRT for the SNES check your local craigslist free section, there should be TVs there pretty often.

I have a tv that has no yellow input but in the manual for hooking up composite you plug the yellow cord into the green port of the component, see if that works.

Scart?

no idea what Scart is.

Also problem is that i only have 1 Composite plugin, dont want to keep pluging in and unpluging = that how i ruined my last TV.

+ I am looking for the heavy ones because their alot of them of high quality, that last for long time.... i still have one TV that lasted me over 12 years and still going strong...

Been checking craglist ;p i see one potential seller, and one person that was giving a TV away for free but that it just dispeared off the post after i send email, but no replay...

The end that goes in your TV looks like his - http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=scart+cable&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&docid=Bw9xOlDONE8TtM&tbnid=2YtVRs6SBTBGbM:&ved=0CAUQjRw&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.chinawholesalegift.com%2F5%2F scart%2F&ei=uBYZUdOZK-HV0QWF8IDoDA&bvm=bv.42080656,d.d2k&psig=AFQjCNGhQiW3Ha3qploWNy1wm4kUBmtb_A&ust=1360685110341867

You can get cheap ones with PS2 connections without much of an issue - http://www.google.co.uk/shopping/product/15264258090572925404?hl=en&sugexp=les%3B&gs_rn=2&gs_ri=hp&cp=9&gs_id=1i&xhr=t&q=ps2%20scart%20cable&pf=p&output=search&sclient=psy-ab&oq=ps2+scart&gs_l=&pbx=1&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_qf.&bvm=bv.42080656,d.d2k&biw=1878&bih=885&wrapid=tljp1360598633685024&sa=X&ei=PxYZUYa4KsjB0QXi1YGAAw&sqi=2&ved=0CGMQ8wIwAg

You can also get these kinds of things - http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=i&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&docid=Sp88ftIXTMvpPM&tbnid=SXd3uQf_CpAyoM:&ved=0CAgQjRwwAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.tvcables.co.uk%2Fcgi-bin%2Ftvcables%2FYUV-RGB-SCART.html&ei=sRcZUYzSE8jQ0QWV3ICIBg&psig=AFQjCNGhxE7EpPaqV7fhleWN3fAaDY00xw&ust=1360685361361740

Obviously if your TV doesn't have a Scart input.. well... yeah... ignore me.

Fair enough! I don't know how I would get by without my Scart leads. I shall quietly back out of this thread. Good luck with the hunt for a TV!

Funny part is when i was going to pick it up.... instead i stoped by at local GoodWill....... found even better TV. =)

I found Philips with alot more plugins... but what made me love this TV and get it right away was for two reasons....

1) it had headphones jack into TV on CRT O.o that PRETTY rare i hardly see those. Also it works =D

2) it costed me $.99 cents =)

GOOD Old GoodWill =) , and i used the rest on money by finding rare DS game for $10 at Family Videos. =)

If you go small enough, headphone jacks start to be fairly common on CRT's from the last decade or so they were making them. But those are usually the cheapo sets that only have RF on the back and A/V (mono!) jacks on the front. To find a set with good hookups and a headphone jack, that's a cool deal.

My 21" Panasonic Tau had a headphone jack.
