Well there aren't a lot of Super Nintendo dedicated fansites out there that are updated on a regular basis. That's why I decided to create one. My Super Nintendo fansite, SNES Hub is commemorating its one year anniversary of existence.
To celebrate this achievement, I'm holding a contest on the site in an attempt to increase activity over there. The top three scorers of the contest will receive:
1st Place Winner will get Final Fantasy III CIB
2nd Place Winner will get A Link to the Past cart only
3rd Place Winner will get The SNES Player's Guide
Full details and pics are here (http://playingwithsuperpower.com/1st-anniversary/)
The contest ends on March 1st, so there's plenty of time to get in on this and win something.
Congrats. :bday: It is not easy to run a Web site for a long time and still maintain your enthusiasm.

Satellablog's (http://superfamicom.org/blog/) nearing it's 5th year in existence, itself.
I never heard of this site, before, though! I'm gonna check it out.
EDIT: Hmm. I'm not really sure how well I fit in this when it has little to no representation for import gaming for the SFC in general, and I'm basically Mr. Satellaview... ^^;

I'll have to take a look at the site. It definitely covers a topic of interest for me :D
But, aren't you worried it will lead to a lot of crap topics and BS posts?

Yes, that was a area of concern, but it hasn't happened as of yet.

A few critiques of the site, please take these in the spirit in which they are intended: As constructive, not trying to bring you or the site down.
- In general, the design for the site is kind of bland and generic for a site that you want to eventually become the main hub for Super Nintendo discourse on the internet. Everything about it looks like a placeholder whipped up quickly with some pre-set HTML web site formats. When I think Super Nintendo, I don't tend to think of wood-grain. Maybe try integrating some of the classic iconography of the SNES into the design of the site? Like use the off-gray and mauve / purple of the U.S. system for the borders? The banner could integrate the classic box design for games, or the classic label design, or create a menu that uses the iconographic Super Famicom / PAL SNES button logo?
- The menu at the top is awkward. A reader of your site shouldn't have to navigate all the back up to the top of the page to navigate around the site. Putting the navigation bar on the side of the main article box would make navigation much more user-friendly. Or even better! Make each section of the navigation bar in the style of the Power / Reset buttons on the Super Nintendo, with the same font and everything!
- Article thumbnails should be thumbnails of the game box itself or even a title screen, not just a generic Google Image search result for the word "x-men" or the dvd box for the Star Wars trilogy for a "Super Star Wars" article. Showing an image of the game being discussed shows you went the extra mile to make the details of your articles fit the content, and generally looks less amateurish.
