I just got myself my first dedicated Naomi! I'm pretty excited because I've been itching to have a newer system that can play some of my dreamcast favorites (i.e. power stone)... Here's the issue:

This machine is a dedicated Derby Owner's Club slave cab. I have not delt with a early 2000's cab let alone a naomi system before. My goal is to replace the CPO with a customish joystick w/ six button config.

I'd like to use what I have and purchase as little as possible for the system. I haven't had the opportunity to see more of the inside of the system yet and I have limited to no information of these. Can anyone help enlighten me?

Never seen a NAOMI like that, or any D pad like that before, would drive me crazy playing the games for it with those buttons. Im sure you can look up which control boards are compatible with it and get a good stick for it.

It originally is a Sega Derby Owner's Club World Edition DX. Everything in it is straight original Sega Naomi. However I need to figure out what I will need to make it a six button layout without having to use a jamma setup. I'm thinking I will need to buy a populated control panel and make a custom one that will fit in the old CPO's spot. However I'm not sure. I have no access to really tinker with it yet.
